Resident Evil 2

Alright.... kick ass! Everyone loves blood sucking zombies, and who doesnt like horror movies, cool guns and puzzles. To be more percise this game has a hint of Alone in the dark, with the camera angles/puzzles, Tomb raiders graphics and cut scenes, and Phantazamagorias gore. The story line is exiting, the interest level is high throughout the game, theres 4 ways to play with male/female characters and the opposing friends role that you meet, (once you beat the game m/f you play the role of the friend you meet with your character.) The weapons are very cool, Claire gets: a mechetti, a 9mm which is sadly left out of most games, a mach11 machine gun, a bow gun that fires 3 large arrows, a grenade launcher with acid flame and grenade rounds. With Leon you get a flame thrower and shotgun. you can even be Sherry, the little squirt of the people who made the G and T-virus thats turing everyone into zombies. The cut scenes are especially impressive on the psx that has 1meg ram and 1meg video, although some square distortions in the picture are visable. This game was very fun and a change from all the racing and 1st person shooters im so fond of, it took me 5h 46min to beat the first section with claire. Fairly good first try. The end boss is very cool. He's been walking around killing everything and every so often he grows new body parts and really kicks ass. Was pretty hard without the rocket launcher that leon gets to destroy him (lucky s.o.b) I on the other hand when all looked bleak stood my ground and started blasting with the mach11. This game I highly recommend, but alas no game is for everybody. exept pong. pong rules.
