Earth is in trouble again so their sending in the marines, and youre one of very few soldiers that survived the landing on the enemies home planet. Gather guns, explore levels, and kick ass! Single player, is you against the artificially intellegent monsters, robots, and gunmen. Not only do you kill stuff this time you get to blow stuff up and compete objectives and missions. (the voice over the radio tells you, and press [f1] to see what to do). Death matches consist of one person (you) against everybody else. You try to kill everyone and get a frag every time you do. Capture The Flag is very fun. Its you on either the red team or the blue team, running around collecting points and stealing the other teams flag from the base. This mod has its own levels to play on, its own skins and can be a really good time.
Quake II is not an upgrade or an addon, its an entire new game, new weapons, new levels, new enemies. New cinematics, mixed color lighting, and multi layered transparencies. The monsters communicate and have multiple weapons.Quake II's levels are all linked, so what you do in the last will affect the next. KICK-ASS online play
